Shipping

Shipping Guidelines

All Bionic Wines shipments travel via UPS, which is currently the carrier available to us from our rural corner of the world. Shipping costs include packaging materials specifically selected to help protect your wines in transit. We review shipping rates regularly in an effort to keep costs as fair and reasonable as possible.

Because wine and extreme temperatures are famously incompatible, we ship during carefully selected seasonal windows whenever possible.

Our primary shipping seasons are:

Fall Shipping: mid-October through early December
Spring Shipping:
mid-February through mid-April

If weather conditions become unsafe for transit, we may temporarily delay shipment to protect the integrity of the wines. Should that happen, we’ll reach out directly with updates.

Shipping rates and state sales taxes change frequently. To ensure accurate billing, shipping charges and applicable taxes are calculated and charged when your wines are prepared for shipment, not at the time your order is placed.

To complete shipment, we must have current and valid credit card information on file. If your card has expired, been replaced, or otherwise changed, please update your account information before your shipping window opens to avoid delays.

No current card, no departing bottles. The cellar doors remain respectfully closed.

Approved Shipping States

We currently ship to the following states, subject to change based on evolving direct-to-consumer shipping laws and regulations:

AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI*, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY.

*Due to local regulations and restrictions, we are unable to ship to Maui County, Hawaii.

Seasonal Shipping

Because wine and extreme temperatures are famously incompatible, we do not offer shipping during the summer months.

Our primary shipping seasons are:

mid-February through mid-April

Returns

Returns, Replacements & Refunds

We stand behind every bottle we produce and want you to feel confident ordering from us. If something isn’t right with your order, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at (509) 526-0686. We’ll work with you directly to resolve the issue as fairly and thoughtfully as possible.

All wine sales take place in Oregon, and ownership transfers to the purchaser at the time the sale is completed. However, if a shipment is damaged by UPS during transit, we will replace the affected wines whenever possible and refund any associated shipping costs.

  • In certain circumstances, we may also replace bottles purchased directly from Bionic Wines or through authorized wholesale partners.
  • Replacement requests must be submitted within five years of the wine’s original release from our cellar.

Wine is agricultural, alive, and occasionally unpredictable. We approach every concern with care, context, and a genuine desire to make things right where we can.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment whenever possible.

Please allow 1–2 billing cycles for credits to appear, depending on your financial institution. In some cases, refunds may be issued by mailed check following verification of mailing information.
